Ukrainian Scientific-production company “Techimpex” presented its new development - Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV) within the framework of the XIV International Specialized Exhibition "Arms and Security - 2017".
LTV was developed by the company's specialists in accordance with the Common Decision with the State Border Service of Ukraine.
The vehicle is designed for mounting weapons and special equipment on it, which makes the LTV a multi-functional light platform. For now, there is an acute shortage of such vehicles in the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
Such technology can be used by units of the Special Operations Forces, highly mobile landing forces, reconnaissance units for sentinel and reconnaissance operations, special operations, logistics, evacuation of the wounded, fire adjustments, patrolling and the like.
Within the framework of the exhibition, “Techimpex” also presented the modernization of such armored combat vehicles as the BTR-80T, BRDM-2, BTR-60T with the combat module BM-23-2 and the 135LM chassis (RSUZUragan). A weighty argument in favor of modernization is the company's refusal of Russian-made engines and adaptation of equipment to Western-type units.
The international specialized exhibition "Arms and Security-2017" is held on 10-13 October at the International Exhibition Center, which is located on Brovarsky Avenue, 15.
